Thanks, but that lists only the server names, but not the instances. it's close but not exactly what the client would expect.
I think I will wait some more time for a fix of Windows 10. I realized that even the SQL Management Studio has trouble getting the SQL servers on the network. So I would guess that Microsoft puts this on a high priority.
