No question that we'll be donating to an organization helping in this crisis. (Meant to have done it already, but things have been a little crazy around here.)

That's the easy part - send a check and done :)

We've talked briefly about the idea of hosting refugees, but no decision yet. If we decide to do so, we're unlikely to take children who need fostering (we're over a decade past acute parenting), and more likely to host a family.

That is very commendable. Please do be sure to let us know when you have a refugee family move in with you.
