There are times when typing "quit" at the command prompt doesn't quit VFP. It requires a second "quit" to actually quit. I notice when this happens, that after quitting VFP where all apps and windows are closed, Windows Explorer appears twice in the Task Manager processes list.

The Task Manager only shows one instance of Windows Explorer before I begin work using VFP 6-SP5, but many times afterward it appears twice in Task Manager. When Windows Explorer appears twice, my backup software fails.

Does anyone have an idea as to how this can occur and if it's VFP6 that's causing the additional instance of Windows Explorer to trigger?

Many thanks,
Dave
