Yes, but I doubt some virtual VM hosts would allow the customer to dictate what would be or to request a specific disk infrastructure just for them.

That is like the first ISP recommanding me a dedicated hardware.

As far as VMWare goes, we use that one in another hosting center for a different product. I do not configure that one however as I only collect technical details.
