I don't remember Microsoft's wording, but they mention Intel specifically. I think they say "Intel type" or something like that. And yes, AMD is "Intel type" so it will work. But I stand by my words as such, since it's made for Intel, it's not made for AMD. AMD is "Intel type" but Intel is not "AMD type".... :-)
