From the article you posted...
"The scientists figured all that out a while ago and have been repeating the answers year after year in an increasingly vocal chorus. For the record, the best scientific estimate is that human activity is responsible for all the warming since 1950"
That is patently false.
There have been many face-validity absurdities from the so-called climate science forecasters. They have little credibility when it comes to making a set of measurable predictions and then validating them. Their own admitted margin for error is several times greater than their reports on temperature change. Right now climate scientists are saying it will take anywhere from another 20-50 years to validate the current models on CO2 and temperatures, with a growing # of scientists placing less weight on the connection. The point of forecasting is to get something right BEFORE new data comes in, which hasn't happened.
Add to that - global temperature measurements only go back about 150 years, and even then, there are different interpretations. Using models for the last 150 years (which is a tiny amount on an evolutionary scale) and proclaiming it's a "settled science" is about 100 times more disingenuous than claiming the earth is 6,000 years old.
Global climate is incredibly complex with many factors where there's still substantial debate about how those factors interact. It's laughable to hear our president describe this as a "settled science". That is more "anti-science" than anything coming out of Jindal's mouth.
And then there's the "97% of climate scientists believe" canard.....
