I agree with Craig on this subject.
I've been doing VFP->.NET conversions for the past several years.
Sooner or later your organization will have to become expert in .NET.
Do it now.
For a typical expert VFP programmer it will take about 6 months to achieve a proficiency level equivalent to the VFP level.
Invest that time and let the process happen.
Then do your conversions and watch how great they work.
If you can't invest that kind of time, don't do the conversion.
It will be a disaster.
