You've received some good advice from both Craig and Bill - I agree with them 100%.

In most cases, development teams going from VFP to .NET take the opportunity to review and enhance their architecture. At this stage, that's probably where you want your focus.

Don't be afraid to take individual pieces and components of your app and build some prototypes in .NET. The experience will likely be quite valuable.
