This was not fixed for the last 25 years. If you want fresher aesopian language, look at the services applet. The descriptions of each service have, on the average, about 20% of words which would require specific definitions, because the common ones just don't apply.
"Collects and stores configuration information for the network and notifies programs when this information is modified". Configuration of what? What information? For which network? Notifies ALL programs? Modified by whom?
