You missed my point, which was... all I see here is griping about Microsoft snooping, yet I'm the only one complaining about Google snooping.

>MS snoop as much as anyone else. That is made as clear as day in their own privacy policies and EULAs. Pointing at another snooper does not offer any defense for MS ... They could have, maybe once upon a time, taken the high road and positioned themselves as guardians of privacy but instead they joined the race to the bottom with the rest of them.
