You probably have never stated that. But I remember a post where you used email handling to "prove" that MS was better than Google, because MS would not scan the email text (for advertizing). Too lazy too search for it, but my guess is you will not deny that.

As MS has now changed the privacy statement in a way that allows MS to scan the email text if one uses MS services,the previous claim of Google being more odious - at least in this specific instance - is not true any more, hence my wording that MS donned a darker hat is true. I never claimed that MS is worse than Google aka MS wears now a hat more black than Google.

Since I describe some of the hoops I jump through to escape Google able to pinpoint my actions, such a complain is clearly included. But there is the difference that I paid for a specific version of windows and from that I expect to decide if and when the product is changed.
