I can limit the stuff I run through google. That's an easy.
I can not limit the part that I do on the MS machine because this is the dev machine. And any data I do there do not belong to MS. Not a single bit. Because this is my property.
And the way MS acts is not thrustworthy. They can claim privacy as long as they like. I do not belive a 14k + words document. A We do not collect anything does not work? Then it is a outhright lie. As simple as that.
I would not thrust any customer acting like that. If the BGB is not enough, something is wrong. (In germany anything not specified in a contract will fall back to the BGB. This is normaly the solution for a hand shake contract. All on a honorable level. To specify discretion, salaries, timelines etc is normal. But legal twist of 14k words. Payment in advance and double the price. At least.)
