Delbert,
First, are you using and alias with your temp file? If you set your alias to the same thing each time, then the Report Designer will be happy. I write all my report cursors to 'RPTDATA', so it's always the same.

Second, you can take the table OUT of your report data environment, as long as you SELECT the table immediately before calling the report.
