I have an Insignia Ethernet Adapter to provide a direct Ethernet connection to my laptop. This has been installed last week. It was necessary as the wireless router at a specific location is not working very well. So, we plugged that directly into the laptop.

It loses connection every 4 hours or so. So, I have to remove it and put it back again. Is there a setting for that or this is a defect equipment?
