Dunno if I was counted as one of several, but I specifically used runtime as "comparator", not platform. As for "platform", in my usage Java is a platform and .Net as well if you include the Xamarin parts/implementatons - WinPhone8 was not built on .Net but more on C and some COM ideas, if I understood the descriptions.
But SQL server ? That is a product in my verbiage, even if parts are used in enhanced or other products.
