You've missed the whole point. You can't expect all gun owners to be like you Marcia. And the mental heath claim has been debunked over and over and over again...yes while that is of course an issue, the number of shootings by the mentally unstable is actually pretty small. The real problem is that are simply too many guns to begin with.
