How many times have you seen Bill O'Reilly on Fox news sit with a republican and listen to them trying say that racism is over? The guy recently went as far as to say that only anti-Americans believe the U.S. is suffering from epidemic racism — but he refused to say if he has any black friends. What is sad is the fact that there are a lot of people who actually think this is correct - and you'll notice that it's the conservative white people who think this way. I have a black friend that told me a few weeks ago that he won't even go to the store at night anymore because he's literally afraid to walk down the street 3 blocks at night anymore. I said 'why? is your neighborhood that bad or something?' - he said no - the neighborhood is fine, but he's afraid of the police. That's really messed up. Mitch McConnell vowed no cooperation with the Obama administration from the get-go. I personally think race has a lot do with that - but that is just my opinion.
