Michael
To call Obama is a socialist is absurd.
He's a multi-millionaire and so is his wife. His kids will sail through private schools and Ivy League colleges.

After what he and Geithner did with TARP the big banks are bigger than they were before he took office.
What you derisively call Obamacare was a gift to insurers and big pharma that keeps on giving.
Socialism? No way!

Get over the fact that deciding things based on race or religion is something we have to deny.
That's how the world works. Just look at what's going on the middle east.

I was fortunate to have married a marvelous, gorgeous woman but I wouldn't have married her had she not been white and Catholic. My Irish Catholic family world have disowned me.
Racism? No.. just common sense.
My family stayed up all night the night that JFK was elected.. why?. because he was an Irish Catholic whose middle name was Fitzgerald and his grandfather came from the same county in Ireland as my grandfather.
Did I support JFK?
Take ten guesses.
Racism? Maybe.. or maybe it was just pride.

Back to Obama.
I knocked on doors during hia first campaign in a predominantly black neighborhood in Trenton.
When I asked the residents whether they'd vote for Obama the typical reply was:
"Are you out of you mind? What else could I do?"
It has everything to do with his being black - pro and con.

Let's stop the socialism fantasy and get by that.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
