..and smart phones are even worse. I spent a LOT of time getting my Android phone ad-free. Have to root the phone, do all kinds of tweaks and hacks..then hack almost every single app you install to get rid of all the damn ads. ..Then of course every time one of the apps releases an update you have to go hack it all up again to get rid of the ads. I probably spend an hour a week messing with my phone to ensure I get no ads. It's a real hassle - but I'd rather spend the 1 hour a week doing that then see ads.
