Hi Al,
I have used JungleDisk (see
https://www.jungledisk.com/faq/ ) happily for many years for my development notebooks and other family computers.
Data stored is encypted locally before being transferred and stored on either rackspace or amazon. I have found it easy to configure and whenever we have had the need to restore something it has just worked.
My son's notebook had a hard drive failure on the morning a major year 12 assignment was due. We restored his documents to another notebook from the automatic jungledisk backup taken at 2am that morning priot to the disk failure without a hitch, to the amazement of his school's IT support desk.
I have not looked at alternatives for sometime as my experience has been that It just works, the interface makes sense to me, and the logging and emailing functions are what you would expect.
HTH,
Andy
