>As years go by Symbian Nokia have only one problem area: battery. The replacement ones you buy tend to be forgeries - which will not have the endurance as the original ones had. The trusted 6210 was in use for over a dozen years, the E51 which replaced it already 7 years old...

It's just about batteries for everything. I've had replacement batteries for a PSP, at least two laptops, one camera (and probably a few other things owned by daughters) where fresh replacement batteries had anywhere between 20 and 80% of the capacity of the original. And yes, one Nokia - but the other three are still running fine on original batteries. Mine still requires only a weekly recharge, and it's 4.5 years old. Not that I'm using it much, but then a charge lasted a week when it was new.
