I use the data environment in vfp5&6 to refer to my data when I create reports. I would like to order my output by Engineer & Received Date(which are child table fields), But still be able to retreive information from the Facility Masterfile. I don't think I quite understand which order to set(the Child, the relationship, or the Master, because I just CAN'T seem to get it to work. I have also tried setting the order in the init event of the child. I really would like to continue to use the Data Environment. Can someone explain this to me. For the most part I am always dealing with at least three tables in a report.
