Viv already supplied a lot of numbers. I do know from previous reading that Jordan refugee number is also sizable, well above 500K, how much is dependant on who is counting. Also the economical power of each country, the level (aka cost) given there and the stability of the country must be put into perspective. Good chance Saudi and Gulf state would be overthrown if they let in sizable numbers from Syria or Iraq.
