Hi Michel (and thanks by the way to the other contributors on the thread),

I have attached a png of the corrupt (login) screen. In view of the fact I may be the only user with syndrom, you may discard the post. I'll make a full reinstall of Firefox on this old XP workstation (Yep the oldish one where I still develop my legacy VFP-based stuff) and check. That should make it:)
