You could certainly do it, however, I would think the code would end up being specific to the printer which is problematic. What I do is have the user install the printer a second time with all the desired duplex options set, name it accordingly, then have them print to that printer when they want duplex. So they end up with the same printer in their system twice: once for normal printing, a second instance for duplex printing.
