Started watching this introduction and found it very bad (for me). At one point, one of the guys says "First, we are going to give you a very high level view of what WebApi is" (which sound very appealing to me) and immediately he starts talking about all VS 2013 technologies, mixing it with words like "neat", "cool", and on and on. This is what I find typically (at least in my experience) a problem with MS gurus putting together courses. I am sure they are great at doing application architecture and many other technical things. IMHO, they should stay away from doing "introductions" courses. Another thing I don't like about some of these courses are circular definitions.
But I thank you very much for your help.

>>Thank you. The reason I asked is I want to be sure that I am going through the right course in Pluralsight to learn how to do it. For example there is a course "Introduction to the API.NET Web API" which has not "MVC" in the title. So I am wondering .... I just wish they had a very basic one but most of them are for the intermediate level.
