IIS passes off the request to ASP.NET, that now knows how to convert the URL route to handle loading everything,. But in MVC, there is no physical file. The response is generated on the fly. You may want to read up on MVC.
http://www.asp.net/mvc>Someting's missing here. If this is not a physical directory or a virtual directory, there has to be a link somewhere to allow that URL to work.
