I have a VFP app that uses an Oracle 10 back-end. They're freezing the data in the app so I thought one thing I would do is make the ODBC connection a read-only connection. It works, but funny thing is that once I do this, all my requery statements seem to run quite a bit longer. Seems very odd & I have no clue why this would happen - does anyone have any ideas???
