Do you have Visual Studio 6? If so search the MSDN help on DeviceIOControl there's 107 hits in there. That API looks callable from VFP because there's no pointers involved. Frankly though I'd call it from a VC++ DLL that VFP can call. VC++ is much better suited for calling the API you are trying to use.
