This SyncPphone's screen is not much smaller. For me the big plus is that it keeps you from having to carry around a laptop AND a phone - you can have both in this one device and put it in your pocket. Sure I could use RDP with my Galaxy Note 4 phone and just connect to a remote machine - but that requires a decent internet connection and of course you need the host computer somewhere too. Te SyncPhone seems like it could be quite handy at times - and considering it costs no more than most smartphones (less in some cases)...why not??

For me the basic requirements in desc order for phone are : small bar size, battery holding on for long time plus BT for car and sometimes motorcycle - Nokia E51 fits that quite well, can hold a few GB of data in a pinch (although too slow via USB2 as to be main portable data store, more of a backup) and was also WhatsApp device before Facebook aquired them and I ditched WhatsApp. Able to to act as WiFi hotspot in a pinch, but internet drains battery. Music and voice recorder functionality available, but seldom used. Can show Office and PDF in a pinch, but due to small screen only used in emergencies or bets ;-)

Motorola F3 when in need of a dumb small comm device with huge battery duration. I mentioned having a paranoid streak. Both have removable battery packs as well.

Android tablets (Nexus 7 and Yoga 2 8') plus Galaxy S4 for the internet stuff, but I found if I have to type more than dozen SMS length I prefer to bring along the Nexus, not the Galaxy as was the idea when buying it. Tempted to buy one of the last Yoga 2 8' Win tablets, as they could double via AmiDuOS as somewhat slower Android tablet plus Atom Win machine for those times traditional classic 32 Bit needs to be accessed. The asymmetric case makes it more versatile, even if it is heavier than Nexus.
