Having said that, he's benefitting from an immunotherapy drug, Keytruda, which was developed in Israel. Why is that relevant? Because Carter is a strong anti-Israel activist - he supports boycotts, divestments, and sanctions against Israel and has even called Israel an apartheid-like state. So he is essentially lobbying aggressively against the very country whose medical technology is improving his life.

Yes, Jimmy Carter has disagreed with many of Israel's policies.. but calling Jimmy Carter an anti-Israel activist?
This bible-thumper can probably recite the old testament backward and forward.
Those people were among the most active supporters of the idea of a Jewish state in Israel before it ever existed.
Carter, like many Israeli's, disagrees with some of the government's policies.
You disagree with many of the current US government's policies.
I have disagreed with many policies of this and prior governments.
I know that you're not anti-American and I certainly am not.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
