If you go by the book it does not change a lot, in special if it comes to Old Testament. We even use it as a proverb for cruel law.

The experiment might be misleading w/o context. And it's better to understand with christian context. It's a reminder to christians that there is the part before Jesus too. (Somebody has done mostly the same with Declaration of Independence on U.S. streets. Ouch)

The thing is that nowadays most christians do not go by the book only, while for a lot of muslims it seems to be the only valid source of knowledge.
Also there is a big differnce. The bible is to be read as man made, the bible in itself has many sources and is a part of a development while the quran is more as it is - god made and fixed.
So compiled with the problem of not translating the quran and that most muslims do not understand qurans arabic we have a big problem that to much people can be focused on the ideas of somebody who is abusing the ideas of the prophet (). But again, it's a problem of education and self awareness, not that of a specific religion. There is a reason to press people on that quran-only thing.

Not that we have not done same thing with the bible, only it's way back (for the majority).

This world has the duty to fight the idots, no matter if they where german nazis or muslimic terrorists.
One has to demonize the enemy and, my friend, as sad as it is, most people only can follow narrow, simple paths. So there will be more demonizing of muslims in general. It is sad that educated people (like you can find in this forum) can not determine propaganda from reality, but then it has pros to be grown up in eastern germany.
We, the non-muslims understanding that fact, have to clip the worst of it, and you, the muslims understanding this have to do the same. If we have finished the terroists, and there is no other way then eleminate them, we togehter have to put the jin back into the bottle and life a live. In honor and respect.
