Or you could look at XmlSerializer and adding attributes to classes.

Don't forget that, if using Web-Api it call automatically convert response data to XML if that is requested in the headers (likewise for JSon objects)
You may not get the exact XML representation you are looking for but you will get something you can work with on the client end.....
