I haven't done email attachments from a MAILTO: prompt; I've had no trouble doing attachments with Outlook using OLE Automation. There are good examples of how to use OLE Automation with Outlook in several back issues of FoxTalk.

I've also done file attachments through MAPI, but I've found that I have better control of things using the Outlook client, and have standardized on it as my tool of choice for email automation in my apps.
