After reading the article, I wouldn't get too excited. They didn't suspend it on principle, but rather for budget reasons.

Yep. The federal and state governments can still seize your property if they feel like it. The only difference is that they will keep all of their ill-gotten loot instead of sharing it with the cops. This is good news? How?

The mindset of those who are defending the increasingly bloated federal government has become insane. I had to endure 30 minutes of holiday dinner, listening to someone go on and on about how the problems with our immigration system is that the govt doesn't have enough money to update horribly inefficient I.T. systems. And then another person at the dinner table quoted a politician who recently said that the problem in our country is that there's a ton of money out there, it's just that the govt doesn't have enough of it.

ROF,L and LOL!!!! is you tongue bitten in half? Or did you just lose your dinner?
