>Has anybody else run into problems where Visual FoxPro 9.0 is quitting randomly - just shuts down in the middle of anything. No errors, no log files written, but VFP just 'disappears'. It can happen immediately after loading VFP and just sitting at the command prompt or after an hour of working - it doesn't appear to be related to anything loaded in the environment since it can happen immediately after startup. It can happen even when VFP is idle in the background - poof and it's gone for no apparent reason.

Aloha - Couple of things I would check. One would be the windows error logs - maybe there is something in there saying what the problem is???
I've had similar problems a couple of times in the past - Once it turned out to be a licensing issue with the SQL Server that my application was connecting too (to many connections) - and another time it turned out to be an active-directory or server licensing issue (too many connections to the domain). If the problem has recently gotten worse - did they add more workstations recently?? Only other thing that comes to mind is the infamous "maybe it's your anti-virus program doing it" thought....
