You'd have to intervene manually for such cases, to subclass the object (scrollthumb in this case) move its properties and code into that subclass and repeat the process at as many levels as it takes. It's possible that you already have those classes in the prg - you'd need to look around. The code generated from a vcx was never quite workable, no matter how many bugs were fixed, simply because of cases like this.
