Hi all of you,
First my best wishes to all of you !
Just a very short question to start my 2016 year on this great forum for those of you who may have used, or even better, woud still be using ARG-Software Common Control Library.
I am interested into this very library. The context? Replace the very last ActiveX in use in a VFP9-application, an oldish MS scrollbar (mscomctrl) with ARG-software VFP-only equivalent. Looks like it works like a charm since it's really a functional equivalent and it would certainly improve deployment as well since it is quite a tight lib by 2016 standards and is no activeX (no registration, no manifest...).
I have no problem with the low pricing, should the product be workable. The demo was certainly robust and easy to start with. Replacing the current activex with this "scrollbar" should be easy game.
So does it work as intended ? Anyone with a feedback is welcome. I'd especially be glad to check the scrollbar is indeed workable on all windows versions up to 10:)
By the way, I understand that ctl32 classes may also include a scrollbar control, namely a "ctl32_scrollbar" class. Should this be an alternative, I'd certainly appreciate feedback on this class as well. But I am not sure this "ctl32_scrollbar" is a full fledged control...
Cheers
