I am using office automation and want to add a filename and path to a footer. It seems simple and add this simple value to the leftfooter

"&[Path]&[File] &[Tab]"

Now when I go into the print preview for Excel I see it show up as Path} File} Tab}

When I go into the page layout and into the actual footer in the Excel sheet everything looks perfectly fine as shown above without the quotes in the correct left footer box only it is highlighted for some odd reason. If I click the cursor after it so it is not highlighted and hit OK everything shows the file paths as they should be.

What is making this section get highlighted and hence not work properly?
