Actually, I have used this in a Codebook for Mere Mortals find form. Basically, I have a find for with 4 parameters on it. The user can op to use those, and the standard, put the values in the vp_'s is used and do a requery.

However, I also have a 'Selection Criteria' checkbox on the form. If the user selects this, the form calls StoneField Query to allow the user to select the conditions.

I then that the where that SFQuery gives me, and use the method mentioned here to display the records. It works great. However, this is a read only view... but, that seems like the only reason to have selections, so the user can choose a list of items, so they can choose one item.

((Actually, I do get a bit more complicated than this. I use CursorGetProp, the meta data, and some methods in the SFQueryEngine (stonfiled) to build an entierly new select.))

But, it basically works as I have described above.
