Not at all, the Universal Thread has been up and running for a year and without any interruption since 35 days. You can verify that with the statistics which will get you all the messages for each day you want.

In March, there was a fiber optic failure at MCI and another major failure this fall somewhere else on the net which cut us from the world for a few hours but that was all.

But, there is at least one provider somewhere that had a bad configuration in his routing table which was pointing users elsewhere when wanting to access our site. But, after a while, that person told me that this was finally set.

I am not aware of any other failure.
