What I want to understand is what is the best way to do image setup.

One thing about storing ALL the jpeg files IN the table would cause the size to be too huge (hundreds of megs). What are the other way(s) to do images?

What I have is an inventory system and we store data about an item and include pictures (like desk, car, lawn motor, etc...). We have about 3,000+ records of ACTIVE items. About 2,000+ of the 3,000+ would have at least 1 picture. Some items have 30 pictures (thats about the highest number of pictures for an item).

How to set the application so that we view the data on a form and if we want to see what the item looks like, I like to add an listbox and one click on an file (hyperlink) and see the picture. I want to use all that VFP 6.0 have without using "3rd party" stuff.

Thank you.

Chuck
