Dunno, browsers often show the html as they currently have it, after they applied their own rules and transformations to it, not html as received. I've just visited the options page (this pageframe, where you read this message) and set the font to my favorite 'Liberation Serif' and after almost 19 years the messages look readable to me. l'Il never like Arial.
