I have had recurring issues - blankings...- on the UT with FF as well for a while (and stopped using FF specifically for the UT at that time - moving to Opera for a while. No I do want to side with googgle and/or MS monopolist browsers. I like market choice).

In the end, I discovered the behaviour would relate to a recent combination of "adblock plus"+FF+UT. Do not ask which one ? What messy JS did lock up. I do not care. I disabled it for the UT and voilà, it now works as in the past!
