If I do not choose this option, then I get errors when I try to run the forms in the system, saying that this "Form does not exist." My main problem with choosing to RECOMPILE ALL FILES is that it changes the date-time stamp of each of those files; and, when you want to know which files you worked on, you can no longer easily determine that, if you didn't write it down somewhere.

Sounds like a path issue. Actually, what does compiling have to do with running something in the IDE? Just run it; if it needs to be compiled, it'll compile.
