I have this signature in my log for the Hits to a Web site:

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_3) AppleWebKit/601.4.4 (KHTML, like Gecko)

This one, as opposed to many others or pretty all the rest, does not contain a browser specific signature in it. Usually, there would be Safari at the end, Chrome, etc.

Looking at that, which browser would you say was used?
