I want to know if the remote view is the only way to use
an ODBC driver
The ODBC driver I use has been downloaded from : Intersolv
it take's a lot of time to start and a lot of disk space to creat te remote view.

this is my situation.

1- I use VFP to create a new application wich acces clipper table.
with >> 600 000 << records.

2- These clipper tables are also used by a clipper application made by another consultant.

3- I can't modify the clipper files, structure nor indexes type.

4- I would like to know if I am right using an ODBC driver to access and maintain NTX indexes and files.

5- If so, have you got any tips, documentation or else that could help me.
