If there is a recognition problem after a login, such as a cookie which is not working, that will log in anonymously. Thus, it will auto default to a certain messages in time, so to give the new users a chance to work with the system. Then, on the next anonymous login, it will use the last pointer from the browser cookie session to give new messages. But, again, this would mean the cookie would have worked and we assume it is not as the main login is not working. There is definitely something not working here. I don't have those browsers so I cannot simulate that.
