>> I don't understand how anyone can think it's a wise move to have a president,..of a country like the USA.., with zero political experience. All these things add up to a recipe for disaster if you ask me.
Lately I've been reading an excellent book about the relationship between George Washington and Alexander Hamilton.
By definition, Washington had little or no political experience. There was nothing there. He had to make a government before he could run it. He had to do it in the face of constant, hateful sniping from people like Jefferson, Madison and Monroe.
The more I read, the more I'm convinced that he was a political genius.
Those people are born, not made.
Experience means little or nothing, as he demonstrates dramatically.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
