Hi Gang!
Any of you had any experience with the SMB2 problem with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 ?
Our IT people were suppose to have installed the SMB2 hotfix from Microsoft on the Server and Client PC's, It appears to have been installed on the Client PCs by looking at the Version # for the mrxsmb20.sys files and they appear to be a newer version than the hotfix says it should be.
We also wanted to check the server, so we FTPed.
When we looked in the C:\WINDOWS\SERVER32\DRIVERS folder on the server, we only saw a handful of drivers !!! And NO mrxsmb20.sys file anywhere !!!
On the Windows 7 PC's that had the hotfix, there were many pages of drivers listed, along with mrxsmb20.sys file.
They are on a domain, so is it possible we can't see ALL the files in the DRIVERS folder by some restrictive policy, or what ?
It would be great to be able to see the mrxsmb20.sys file for verification.
Thanks!!!
